Rage Room Prices Explained — How Much Should You Pay?
Rage room pricing breakdown: solo sessions, group rates, BYOB add-ons, party packages. What's fair, what's a rip-off, and how prices vary by city.
Rage room prices vary more than you'd expect. The same 20-minute solo session can be $30 in Houston, $75 in Manhattan and £45 in London — and that's before BYOB add-ons or group rates. Here's how to read a rage room price list without getting hosed.
The four pricing dimensions
- Session length — 15, 20, 30, 45 or 60 minutes
- Number of smashable items — typically 5 small + 1–3 large, scaling with price
- Group size — solo, couples, or 4/6/8+
- Add-ons — BYOB, extra items, music aux-in, photo packages

What's a rip-off
- Sub-$25 sessions are usually a 10-minute slot with 3–4 items. Fine for a novelty, terrible value.
- Over $90 for a 20-minute solo is only justified by truly premium items (large electronics, vintage, etc.). Check the item list before booking.
- Mandatory photo packages above $20 — most venues let you film yourself.
What to look for
- Transparent item lists per package
- Group discounts that scale linearly
- BYOB allowed without giant fees
- Weekend pricing not more than 20% above weekday
