A rage room (also called a smash room, anger room, or wreck room) is a venue where you pay to safely destroy objects — glassware, electronics, furniture, printers — using bats, hammers and crowbars. It's used for stress relief, novelty experiences, group bonding, and bachelor / bachelorette parties.

Rage room prices typically range from $25 to $75 per person for a 15–30 minute solo session, and $40 to $150 per person for group packages. Pricing depends on city, session length, the volume of items provided, and whether you bring your own items to smash.

Yes. Reputable rage rooms provide full PPE — coveralls, gloves, helmets with full face shields, and steel-toe footwear. You sign a waiver, get a safety briefing, and break items inside a reinforced room. Children under 12 are usually not allowed; many venues require 18+ for the main session.

Standard items include glass bottles, ceramic plates and mugs, TVs and monitors, computer towers, printers, keyboards, microwaves, and wooden furniture. Many rage rooms also let you bring your own breakables (BYOB) within a list of allowed materials.

Most rage rooms allow you to bring your own items (BYOB) for an additional fee or as part of premium packages. Common restrictions: nothing toxic, no lithium batteries, no aerosols, no firearms, and no items larger than the venue's safety limits.

Sessions usually run 15 to 30 minutes of active smashing, plus 10–15 minutes for the safety briefing and gear-up. Group sessions for 4+ people can extend to 45–60 minutes.
